The old legacy Microsoft Edge gets hidden and all attempts to launch old Microsoft Edge redirect to new Microsoft Edge browser.

So the new Microsoft Edge replaces and hides the legacy UWP Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 and users are unable to find and access the old Microsoft Edge in their computers. Start Menu will only show new Microsoft Edge shortcut as shown in following screenshot:

If you check Start Menu’s programs list, you’ll not find the previous UWP Microsoft Edge app shortcut. If you try to install the new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge web browser in Windows 10, it automatically disables or removes the Legacy or old version of Microsoft Edge in Windows 10.
